Check out the long version of this answer here — short version: I have a background in marketing and understand what it takes for content to move prospects in the direction you want them to go. I’ve been working with SaaS marketing teams for nine years. Plus, I’m easy to work with, and I deliver on deadline. My clients have lots of good things to say about me.
Pricing is based on the nature of the work and the engagement (one-off vs. monthly retainer). My pricing is on the higher side of what most freelancers charge because I like to do great work that makes my clients look good. I also like to include add-ons that make the content more effective, such as CTA recommendations and content repurposing ideas. If you let me know the type of work and engagement you have in mind, I’m happy to give you a quick ballpark estimate (minus the sales pitch!).
Because I need to get a thorough understanding of your audience and your product (and how we can lead prospects to value what your product does best), I include a research phase for all new clients. I study your personas, messaging platform, and style guide, and do a product demo. This upfront research leads to more effective content. For this reason, I have a $5,000 project/bundle minimum.
My services are designed to deliver precisely what you need while making the process simple for you. My goal is to make life easier for my clients!
We’ll have a collaboration call, identifying your goals for the content we’ll be producing, the strategy associated with the content, and details like target SEO key terms. I’ll also make recommendations and share ideas.
Next, I create a project roadmap, which contains our plan for the content and high-level outlines of the content pieces. You’ll add your input, then I’ll create the drafts for each piece of content and associated recommendations. You’ll review and make any revision requests. Two sets of revisions are included in my standard pricing to be sure you’re happy with the finished pieces. Professional proofreading ensures the copy is perfect.
I keep a full project calendar, so I’m typically booked 3-4 weeks in advance for one-off projects. (Many clients choose a monthly retainer engagement for this reason.) I take deadlines seriously, and one of the reasons my clients like working with me is that I deliver when I say I will. Prior to starting the project, we’ll establish agreed-upon milestones. As long as you stay on schedule with the milestones you’re responsible for (such as scheduling interviews and requesting revisions), I will be sure to meet your deadlines. If you miss a milestone, however, I will need to rebook the remaining milestones into the next available slots in my project calendar.
I require full payment upfront for all one-off projects. Monthly retainers are billed at the beginning of each month and due within 30 days. I accept payments via ACH, direct deposit, or check.
