I got my start in next-level content while working with the super-smart marketing team at Sigma (a Snowflake BI Partner). We designed a content marketing engine that not only attracted qualified traffic and drove millions in revenue, but also established the company as a leader in democratizing data analytics. Why was it so successful? Two reasons. 1) We had a powerful point of view. 2) We wove in sales techniques like addressing the status quo bias.
Sigma’s approach to content was exciting to me because it combined my background working at a sales strategy consultancy with my love for storytelling (I have a degree in creative writing and write speculative fiction on the side).
Taking what I learned while working with the Sigma team, I applied the same strategies to content at Network for Good (now Bonterra) and Front. I’ve since consulted with Snowflake, NielsenIQ, ObvioHealth, Immuta, Marathon Health, Knowde, and AllCloud, helping them craft content that captures attention and converts customers.

- My favorite way to recharge is to get out into nature, whether on foot or on my mountain bike.
- I’m a science fiction and fantasy geek who writes a free weekly newsletter on Substack called Doors to the Sea.
- As someone with an autoimmune condition and fibromyalgia, I’m passionate about dispelling myths about people who live with chronic illness and chronic pain. We can be some of the most productive and valuable people on a team!
